Ian Jones-Quartey, before he split to go work on Rebecca’s show, was a key creative-type for a good while on Adventure Time. (Fortunately, he’s still the voice of Wallow on Bravest Warriors.) He’s a truly busy man, so where he came up with the time to create this pretty awesome “Lakewood Plaza Turbo” for Cartoon Network no one knows.

Not surprisingly, some people have brought my extremely controversial Mario Timeline into scrutiny due to the lack of Donkey Kong. There’s a very good reason why he wasn’t included.
Sit down, babies, and cover those sensitive ears. I’m about to tell you the facts about donkey kong they don’t want me teaching in school.
Exhibit A:
Look how similar Mario and Donkey Kong’s hands are. Notice how they perfectly align in the third image without any photo editing at all.It’s almost as if they… Share a common ancestor maybe? HMMM?

Comparing Diddy Kong to Mario is like comparing a Monkey wearing a t-shirt and ball cap to a short italian plumber wearing bright red and blue clothing. Night and day difference. Comparing them in this sequence, however, and it’s almost like the four of them are related.

This one’s important. Look at this picture of Michelangelo’s painting of God creating Adam:
Nothing sticks out, right? Well… TAKE A LOOK AT THIS:
The painting of God looks EXACTLY like Donkey Kong. It’s important to note here that almost no one in the renaissance actually knew what donkey kong looked like. Michelangelo was one of the few people that were given access to dead donkey kongs for his studies.
Wrap your head around that.
